I went to Joey with a few friends, and to me it felt like one of those places where the price actually matches what you’re getting. The portions were satisfying, everything tasted fresh, and it didn’t feel like we were paying restaurant prices for something underwhelming.

The only thing I’d watch is the drinks, because those can make the bill climb faster than expected. For that reason I’d say it’s more of a solid 4-star spot, but still a good choice if you want decent food and a nice meal out without feeling like you got overcharged.

I ordered from Joey and it was mostly spot on. The mains were all correct and everything matched what I picked, which I appreciated. They did miss one small sauce on the side, but it wasn’t a huge deal. Overall, good experience, just would’ve been nice if the little extras were double-checked.

We ended up staying longer than planned and I never really felt uncomfortable, which says a lot. Based on that most recent visit, I’d definitely go back.
